Studying at the Business School Pforzheim

The Business School at Pforzheim University offers 14 Bachelor's, 10 Master's and 2 MBA programs, making it one of the largest business faculties in Germany. The range of courses on offer is diverse: there is no one course of study in economics or business administration, for example, but numerous programs, each of which is geared to a clear profile of professional functions. Our degree programs are constantly being developed and adapted to current trends in practice and research.

At the beginning of their studies, first-year students are accompanied by our SIC program, which provides a wealth of information to help them get off to a good start. The Student Services team is available to help our students with questions and challenges during their studies.

Unique Bachelor's program: Business Administration and Business Law

Our Bachelor's programs are based on the Pforzheim Model, which provides a broad and at the same time in-depth vocational training that is clearly oriented towards the labor market.

In particular, the firmly integrated practical semester in the course of studies underlines the practical orientation of our degree programs, which optimally accompanies students on their way into professional life. During the practical semester, students apply what they have learned and consolidate the theory of their major through practical experience.

Our students also have the opportunity to spend a semester abroad at our numerous partner universities around the world. This strengthens intercultural skills and lays the first foundations for an international career.

Specialization through practical orientation: Our master's program

The Master's programs at our business school comprises a total of 12 Master's programs, including two MBA programs and a modular, part-time continuing education program. All programs are postgraduate programs with their own specialization and impress with their practical orientation, the transfer of application-oriented knowledge, internationality and the involvement of renowned companies.

A special highlight of the Master's program is the excursion week, during which our students visit companies, agencies, law firms or non-profit organizations with their professors and, depending on the field of study, get to know different professional fields and activity profiles.

AACSB Accreditation: International Seal of Approval for Business Studies

The Business School and the industrial engineering degree programs at Pforzheim University meet the highest international standards. This is certified by the world's leading accreditation institution for business schools, the Association to Advance CollegiateSchools of Business (AACSB International). The AACSB seal is considered one of the world's most important awards for the quality of business school education.
