Auszeichnung des manager magazins: Deutschlands beste Wirtschaftsprüfer 2026/27 – Top Hochschule im Fach Wirtschaftsprüfung.

Award: Top University in the Field of Auditing

In this large-scale study, in which over 80 accounting firms and approximately 1,700 clients participated, we were once again able to achieve an outstanding 4th place—as we did in the previous survey—and thus remain among the top firms in Germany. This repeated ranking is a major success and underscores the high quality of our teaching, our close ties to professional practice, and the commitment of everyone involved in this field. For our students in particular, this serves as an important guide and source of validation.

Applications are accepted for both the winter and summer semesters.

The deadlines are July 15 and January 15, respectively.

Guidelines for Applicants in Higher Semesters (Students Changing Majors)

Please note: You cannot apply for admission to a higher semester if you have lost—or are about to lose—your eligibility to take exams at your current university due to repeatedly failing a course. In this case, you must apply for admission to the first semester through the regular application process. A decision regarding the possible recognition of courses you have already completed at your current university will then be made in a separate procedure once you are enrolled.

If you have already begun your studies in Business Administration at another university and wish to transfer to Pforzheim University, a standardized procedure applies to all degree programs. This procedure ensures that

  1. An optimal faculty-to-student ratio is guaranteed to ensure your academic success.
  2. Applicants are accepted in order of their qualifications.
  3. The strict requirements for a standard application (particularly the high school GPA) cannot be circumvented.

Consequently, regarding the points mentioned above:

  1. Your application can only be successful if a regularly admitted student has withdrawn from the program during the semester you are applying for.
  2. Before applying, you must have completed an “academic advising session.” This session is used to make a preliminary determination of the semester for which you may apply and to establish the ranking order among the applications. Regardless of this, you must have your previous academic achievements recognized by the relevant faculty members. Only then is a final semester assignment possible.
  3. Your application to transfer into a higher semester can only be accepted if you can demonstrate that you have already earned course credits at your current university that are at least equivalent to the course credits required for the first semester at our institution. Whether this is the case will also be verified based on an academic transcript you must submit in preparation for the academic advising session. If this condition is not met, you must apply for admission to the first semester through the regular application process. Please refer to your university’s website for information on the procedure to follow. It may be possible later in your studies for individual course credits already earned at another university to be recognized by the relevant faculty members.

Please note the following deadlines for your application:

  • January 15 for applications for the summer semester
  • July 15 for applications for the winter semester

The results of the academic advising session mentioned above must be available by these dates. This means that you must complete the credit transfer process in a timely, thorough, and efficient manner.

If you have any further questions about the application process or your chances of success, please contact the Student Affairs Office first. (studicenter(at)hs-pforzheim(dot)de).

If, after reviewing the information above and consulting with the Student Affairs Office, you decide to apply, please contact the program office. From there, you will be referred to the staff member responsible for academic advising.
