Workshop on Supply Chain Management

News

Hands-on experience for the first semester MBA students.

The first semester MBA students conducted a Supply Chain Management workshop under the guidance of Prof. Klaus Möller and long-time guest lecturer Prof. Hendrik Reefke from Cranfield University, School of Management, UK. The class was divided into two groups, each with a different topic that was related to the Global Sourcing and Supply Chain Management course. Students were then encouraged to experiment and find ways to prepare a workshop and teach the material to the other group. Those workshops are meant to deepen the knowledge of the whole class by applying the information on supply chain and business process management, logistics structures and network planning, supplier evaluation and selection, information and communication technologies and sustainability in logistics and supply chains that were taught during the foundation lectures. After the workshops the two teams had to write a report not only about the assigned topic but also about the teaching experience.
