WELCOME to the SUMMER SEMESTER 2025!

News

After just a short break between the winter and summer semesters, we welcomed our MBA students back to campus this week. Well rested and ready for the new semester, everyone met in the MBA classroom to catch up and to welcome the new batch members who are starting their MBA careers this summer semester.
Together with the new students, the class of 2026 now has an immensely rich cultural diversity of 9 countries of origin: Vietnam, China, India, Nepal, Kenia, Tanzania, Uganda, Iran and Mexico.
This diversity of cultures and professional backgrounds plays a major role in ensuring that our students are well prepared for the challenges of a globalised working world. Soft skills such as working in international teams and acquiring intercultural competences are an important part of the MBA program at Pforzheim University.
During the welcome session Prof. Harald Strotmann, Vice Dean of the Business School and Director of the MBA International Management program, walked the students through their second semester which offers just the right blend of conventional business tools like Innovation Management & Business Models, and Sustainable Globalization, and advanced business methodologies like Strategic Management or Business Controlling, along with electives such as Leadership or Decision Making.
Prof. Strotmann also gave a seak peek on the upcoming 4-day excursion which will take the MBA students to the Frankfurt area, as well as networking events such as the Alumni Meet Current Students or Guests in Classroom sessions!
We´re all looking forward to an intense summer semester that will offer many opportunities for personal and professional growth for the MBA students.
