With nine out of ten possible points, Pforzheim University landed in the top 3 in the category "Most popular universities with 5,000 to 15,000 students" in the current ranking of the German Studycheck platform. The ranking is based on the average student ratings for their respective university, as well as the recommendation rate, which were collected in 2021. With a 4.15 star rating and a recommendation rate of 97 percent, Pforzheim University is one of the best-rated and thus most popular universities in Germany according to students and graduates. With around 500,000 visitors and three million page impressions per month, Studycheck is one of the largest evaluation portals for degree programmes and universities nationwide. "I am particularly pleased with this award because it reflects the opinion of our students and graduates and underlines the high quality of our education. This very good rating that they give us as Pforzheim University encourages us to consistently continue on our successful path in study and teaching," explains Professor Dr. Ulrich Jautz, Rector of the University, with regard to the ranking results.
On Studycheck, students and graduates have the opportunity to rate study programmes and universities in categories such as "study content", "facilities" or "digital learning". In addition, the respective recommendation rate is queried. Prospective students can use the opinions and experience reports to get a picture of the various universities and degree programmes from the perspective of students and graduates.
