Mr. Asad Malik, alumnus of the MBA International Management at Pforzheim Business School, and his colleague Mr. Johann Giesinger, Junior Product Manager at HELLA Group, came all the way from Dortmund to meet our 2nd and 4th semester MBA students in class.

The HELLA Group develops and manufactures lighting and electronic components and systems for the automotive industry, and also has one of the largest trade organizations for automotive parts, accessories, diagnosis and services within Europe. It is a light supplier to top tier companies like, Audi, Daimler, Ferrari, Aston Martin and more.

Mr. Asad Malik works for HELLA as a product manager for customized headlights. He spoke about his roles and responsibility and explained that he was the link between the sales and the technical team. Part of his role was convincing customers about the product and technicalities of the lighting system. For a better understanding of the products, some product examples were brought into classroom.

As a highlight, Mr. Malik and Mr. Giesinger demonstrated the functions and special features of the lightning during an impressive lightning show on the university campus. Additionally, Mr. Malik gave some useful advice to current MBA students, who very much appreciated his and Mr. Giesinger’s visit to Pforzheim Business School.
