Broaden your horizon: study abroad

News

MBA student Johannes Reuter, Class of 2020, returns from his semester abroad at the University of Wyoming, USA.

„I spent the Fall Semester 2019 at the University of Wyoming, United States. The close relationship with Pforzheim University gave me the chance to pursue my third MBA semester overseas. Besides the student life on a campus in the United States, my highlight was the Outdoor Leadership Experience. We spent an entire week in the stunning wilderness of Wyoming, which was a great start into the semester. I am happy about my decision and glad about the experiences I have made in these six months.“

For many years the University of Wyoming and Pforzheim University have been working together as partners in the field of student exchange. Since the world is becoming more and more interconnected, the two highly ranked institutions are offering their MBA students the opportunity to not only gain a new perspective on things and develop professionally as well as personally through the experience with the other culture. The programs give the students the chance to expand their network and built long-lasting, meaningful connections that can be extremely important in an ever-evolving business world.

MBA students who spend a semester abroad at one of Pforzheim University´s partner institutions in Europe (e.g. France, Portugal, Slovenia, Turkey), the Americas (Brazil, Mexico, USA) or the Asia-Pacific  region (China, India, Indonesia, Taiwan) don´t have to pay additional tuition fees. They even have the chance to acquire a Double Degree with the University of Wyoming or the ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa to enrich their professional portfolio and make them stand out of the crowd when applying for a job.
