There were Alumni from the Class of 1997 all the way up to the Class of 2018 that have made it through the MBA International Management program here at HS Pforzheim.

The event kicked off with a reception and finger-foods to create a talkative and fun atmosphere. People trickled in and exchanged stories about their time in the program and how much it helped them in their professional careers. While some may not have remembered the exact content to pass a test for the same class today, they definitely remembered the collaborative and engaging exchanges they had with their fellow MBA batchmates. Some MBA students had gone on to found their own companies and many have moved on to high level positions at companies all over Germany, some as directors or VPs at some of the biggest players in Germany. 

After the reception, the Alumni, the MBA team and the program director Professor Strotmann made the beautiful hike through the woods of the Black Forest to the Seehaus Biergarten, just 30 minutes from Hochschule Pforzheim. Despite being hit by a surprise rainstorm, everyone’s spirits were up and they all had a great time chatting while eating German snacks and drinking cold German beer under the Biergarten tent. The energy in the tent was very high as everyone laughed and made the best of this opportunity to connect with old friends and professors. 

In the early evening the Alumni and the MBA team members met at Lehner’s Wirtshaus, the place where many MBA Stammtisch-gatherings had been held I the past years, for a traditional dinner and good talks between friends and MBA program mates. Many people throughout the day had nice exchanges swapping stories from their shared experiences here in Pforzheim - a small city with the MBA students that have the biggest minds, hearts and the highest ambitions in all of Germany! 

We thank everyone that made it out to this event and would be thrilled to have you back for the next Alumni Meeting in summer 2021! We would like even more Alumni that couldn’t make it this year to join us as well. Until next time Hochschule Pforzheim MBA Alumni!
