Diwali, also called as Deepawali or Dipavali is one of the most popular festivals of Hinduism. It symbolizes the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance".
This year again, the MBA students of the Hochschule Pforzheim celebrated Diwali at the campus.
There was a series of singing and dance performances such as Bollywood and Bhangra. Dedicating some precious spare time between classes in the past few days to rehearsals, the student groups had choreographed powerful and fun dances. Furthermore, Indian food such as samosas and sweets, added more taste to the event.
It was a wonderful cross-cultural evening that gave insights to the origins of the festival and had MBA students from various nationalities as well as faculty staff enjoying the celebrations together.
