Anfang Oktober beginnt Ihr Masterstudium an der Hochschule Pforzheim. Hiermit möchten wir Sie zur gemeinsamen Einführungsveranstaltung für alle Masterstudierenden der Business School einladen. Die Veranstaltung findet am Mittwoch, den 4. Oktober 2023 ab 9.00 Uhr im Audimax (Erdgeschoss Bibliotheksgebäude) statt.

Im Rahmen der Einführungsveranstaltung begrüßt Sie das Dekanat der Business School und stellt Ihnen das Studium an der Hochschule Pforzheim sowie die spezifischen Angebote für Masterstudierende näher vor. Dabei erhalten Sie auch praktische Informationen rund um den Studienstart - u.a. zu IT-Systemen und Software, E-Learning und Bibliothekszugang.

Anschließend führen Sie Masterstudierende  über den Campus, zeigen Ihnen Hörsäle, Labore und zentrale Anlaufstellen und geben den einen oder anderen Tipp zum Start ins Masterstudium.

Nach dem Mittagessen in der Mensa - auf Einladung der Business School - finden studiengangspezifische Einführungsveranstaltungen oder erste Lehrveranstaltungen statt. Hierzu informieren wir Sie gesondert per Mail.

Am Donnerstag, den 5. Oktober 2023 findet nachmittags ein GoldStadtWalk für Masterstudierende statt: Bei einer Stadtführungen lernen Sie die Stadt Pforzheim kennen, erhalten Tipps rund ums Leben in der Goldstadt und lassen danach den Tag beim gemeinsamen Abendessen mit Ihren neuen Mitstudierenden, Professorinnen und Professoren gemütlich ausklingen.

A warm welcome to our new master's students!

At the beginning of October, you will start your master's studies at Pforzheim University. Herewith, we would like to invite you to the joint introductory event for all master's students of the Business School. The event will take place on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 starting at 9:00 a.m. in the Audimax (first floor library building).

During the introductory event, the Dean's Office of the Business School will welcome you and introduce you in more detail to the studies at Pforzheim University as well as the specific offers for master's students. You will also receive practical information about starting your studies - including IT systems and software, e-learning and library access.

Afterwards, master's students from the higher semesters will show you around the campus, show you lecture halls, laboratories and central contact points and give you one or two tips for starting your master's studies.

After lunch in the cafeteria - at the invitation of the Business School - introductory events specific to the study program or the first lectures will take place. The study programs will inform you about these events by mail.

On Thursday, October 5, 2023, the GoldStadtWalk for master's students will take place in the afternoon: During a guided city tour, you will get to know the city of Pforzheim, receive tips on living in the Gold City, and then spend the rest of the day enjoying dinner with your new fellow students and professors.
