A formal ceremony where your graduation can be celebrated together with family, friends and professors.

The study program ceremonies begin at 2.30 and 3:30 pm respectively.  The official ceremony begins at 5.30 pm in the great hall of the CCP. 

We will provide you an academic robe for professional photographs.

The ceremony ends between 7.30 and 8 pm (depending on the size of the event) with a champagne reception and pretzels. The exact details such as the room number and time of each study program ceremony will be sent to you in advance via email.

All graduates (all examination grades must have been submitted to the examination office by 28. april) are sent a written invitation to the ceremony on 7. june 2024.  If you have only just handed in your thesis, your graduation ceremony may be later.  If you would still like to participate (for example in order to celebrate with your fellow-students) you can register as a guest.  

Every guest and every graduate need to have a ticket.  Graduates receive a complimentary ticket by entering the promotion code.

When purchasing their ticket every graduate will receive a promotion code per email which can be used one time to obtain a complimentary ticket for the ceremony.

The code is sent to your university email account.  Please check your inbox to ensure that it is not full and that you are not able to receive any more mails.  If you do not receive a code, please contact laudatio(at)hs-pforzheim(dot)de

Please use the link in the email you received.  An external service provider is responsible for ticket ordering.  Please do not forget to print out and bring your entrance ticket to the ceremony.

Cancellation fees only apply to tickets which have already been paid for.  If you have a complimentary graduate ticket and you are not able to attend, please send a short message to laudatio(at)hs-pforzheim(dot)de  in order to facilitate our planning.

You can purchase tickets for a maximum of two guests at the same time. This restriction is necessary so that all graduates can safely book a ticket. If there are still remaining places available after 6. may, we will open the registration so that you can book additional tickets.

The ticket price includes entry, the program, refreshments in the break and a small reception at the end of the official program.  Additional food and drink are not included in the price.

Yes, you can invite friends and family to any study program ceremonies which take place before the joint ceremony.

We ask for your understanding that it is not possible to reserve seats at the ceremony. Seating is only reserved for the graduates to ensure the award ceremony is conducted in an orderly manner.

The graduation is a ceremonial occasion, therefore suitable clothing is required.

All rooms and entrances are accessible for the handicapped.

Dogs are not admitted to the Congress Centre, there are exceptions for service and working dogs.

The following car parks are in the direct vicinity of the Pforzheim Congress Centre:

• The theatre – underground car park (Waisenhausplatz 5, 244 spaces)
• The underground car park at the Park Hotel (Deimlingstraße 36, 155 spaces) and
• The underground car park at the Market Square (Deimlingstraße 6, 375 spaces, entrance and exit in Zerrennerstraße and Zehnthofstraße)

• The Post/Cineplex Cinema car park (Zerrennerstraße 31, 62 spaces)

There is further parking available at the station and at Turnplatz, both are approximately 700 metres away from the CCP.
