Mentoring Program at Business School Pforzheim
The mentoring program connects students with alumni to provide practical insights, support, and guidance as they transition into their professional careers. Alumni are invited to share their experiences and knowledge, thereby actively contributing to the development of future graduates.
Target Audience and Duration
- The mentoring program is aimed at bachelor’s students in the second stage of their studies (3rd/4th semester) and master’s students in their second semester.
- The mentoring program runs for two semesters or one academic year.
Process and Formats
- A total of 3–4 meetings over two semesters
- Formats: in-person meetings, phone calls, or virtual meetings
Focus on reflection and professional development: discussion of challenges, progress, and next steps
Matching Process
- Mentors are former students of the Business School.
- Mentors and mentees are matched based on their degree program or field of study, supplemented by their interests and goals.

Mentoring for Bachelor's Students
Students in the second stage of their studies (3rd or 4th semester) of a bachelor’s program at the Business School are eligible to participate in the mentoring program. The mentoring program for bachelor’s students begins in the winter semester and runs for one academic year or two semesters. Students submit an application at the beginning of the winter semester (October); a transcript is required
