CONGRATULATIONS to our new Beta Gamma Sigma members!

News

This year seven of our MBA students - Jessica Greenwood, Prachita Bakliwal, Pingjun Li, Mohit Sharma, Sanket Kulkarni, Subramanian Chandrasekaran and Akash Tomar have been nominated for membership of the international honor society BETA GAMMA SIGMA (BGS).
"Tonight we are honoring students who can serve as role models for others with their outstanding academic achievements," said Professor Dr. Thomas Cleff, Dean of the Faculty.
BGS is a worldwide network for which the Business School can nominate its best Bachelor's and Master's students of a year. After reviewing their performance, these students are invited by the BGS Board of Directors from the USA to become part of the honor society and the community of the best graduates in business and business law. This year, 80 students from Business School Pforzheim - 46 Master's and 34 Bachelor's students - received this special honor.
In 2014, following its successful accreditation by the renowned international accreditation organization "Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)", the faculty founded its own chapter within the honor society Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS). Since then, the most successful students have been invited to become members once a year. Chapter President Professor Dr. Thomas Cleff emphasized the special significance of the BGS network in his speech: "Lifelong membership in BGS identifies you as students and alumni as the 'best among the best'. Today you become part of the global BGS community, which also includes Nobel Prize winner Bengt Holmstrom and Alain Greenspan, the former chairman of the US Federal Reserve."
In recent years the BGS Pforzheim Chapter has been repeatedly honored with the "Honors" seal. The headquarters of the honor society in Missouri (USA) has thus certified that the BGS Pforzheim Chapter appreciates exceptional academic achievements in the spirit of the BGS principles.

Congratulations! We are very proud of you!
