Evaluation Workshops at the End of the Semester: Student Feedback as a Driver of Quality Enhancement
News

At the end of the semester, evaluation workshops were held for both first- and third-semester students in the MBA program. These workshops provided students with the opportunity to reflect on and evaluate all courses offered during the semester.
During the sessions, students were invited to share which lectures they found particularly valuable, whether they would choose certain elective courses again, how they perceived the professors and their individual teaching styles, and how effectively course content was delivered. In addition, students were encouraged to express wishes for future course content and to offer constructive suggestions for improvement.
Ensuring and continuously enhancing the quality of teaching within the MBA program is a key objective of these evaluation workshops. The program management carefully reviews and analyzes the student feedback and, where appropriate, implements adjustments and improvements in subsequent semesters.
For third-semester students, the evaluation workshop had special significance, as it marked the final classroom-based session before the beginning of the thesis semester, which no longer requires on-campus attendance.
In keeping with a valued tradition, the workshops concluded with a semester closing event. Students, together with Program Director Prof. Dr. Harald Strotmann and members of the MBA team, came together to reflect on the past semester and to celebrate its successful completion in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.
