Greetings from the Dean
Business School Pforzheim – We know what matters most
The Business School Pforzheim is one of the biggest and most successful business schools in Germany. We are proud to be the first German University of Applied Sciences to be internationally accredited by the renowned association AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). Thereby we are among the leading business schools in the world – an honor and a commitment to quality in research and teaching equally. We are and will continue to remain a top address for motivated and talented applicants, as well as employers looking for highly qualified employees.
As the demands on business graduates have changed over the 60 years of our existence, so has the Business School. The practical orientation of our research and teaching, international perspectives and methodological skills, together with the integration of the professional experience of our professors and their intensive business contacts, are the building blocks of our success.
Ambitious students benefit from highly qualified, committed and experienced professors, small class sizes, close links with over 500 companies in Germany and abroad, and our international network of partner universities. Whether advertising psychologist, business lawyer or resource specialist, an important aspect of our study programs is our “Pforzheim Model”. This concept of a sound business education, which includes qualitative methods, economics and business law, as well as specialisation from the outset, results in a wide range of career opportunities for our graduates.
In applied research, we focus on practical solutions and collaborate with research institutes and other universities. Our professors publish and research in a wide range of disciplines - you can get an idea of the diversity by on clicking the competency search under the research tab of the website.
We have an open campus philosophy and look forward to getting to know you! Come and visit us at one of our student information days or just get in touch.
