Business School Pforzheim und Universität Ljubljana unterzeichnen Double Degree-Abkommen
Studierende der Masterstudiengänge Corporate Communication Management (Pforzheim) und Marketing (Ljubljana) haben künftig Option auf Doppelabschluss
Die Business School und die School of Economics and Business der Universität Ljubljana, Slowenien, haben ein Abkommen über ein neues Double-Degree-Programm unterzeichnet. Ab Oktober 2024 haben Studierende, die in Pforzheim im Masterstudiengang Corporate Communication Management eingeschrieben sind, die Möglichkeit, sich für die Option eines internationalen Doppelabschlusses zu bewerben.
Ziel der Partnerschaft ist es, die Masterstudenten beider Hochschulen auf die Herausforderungen in der internationalen Unternehmenskommunikation und im Marketing vorzubereiten. Die Pforzheimer Studierenden, die am Programm teilnehmen, werden das erste Studienjahr in Deutschland und das zweite Jahr in Ljubljana verbringen. Im Gegenzug absolvieren Studierende aus dem Masterstudiengang Marketing der Universität Ljubljana ihr zweites Studienjahr n Pforzheim. Am Ende des zweiten Jahres erhalten alle Studierenden sowohl den deutschen Masterabschluss in „Corporate Communication Management (M.Sc.)“ als auch den Abschluss in „Marketing (M.A.)“ der Universität Ljubljana. An jeder Hochschule stehen pro Jahr fünf Plätze zur Verfügung, die im Rahmen eines kompetitiven Auswahlverfahrens vergeben werden.
Die Hochschule Pforzheim und die Universität Ljubljana sind seit vielen Jahren akademische Partner. Seit einigen Jahren exisitert bereits eine Kooperation für ein Master-Double Degree im Bereich Information Systems, das bei Studierenden in beiden Ländern gleichermaßen beliebt ist, sowie eine Promotionskooperation. Beide Business Schools wählen Partnerinstitutionen für Doppelabschlüsse nach strengen Kriterien aus.
Die School of Economics and Business der Universität Ljubljana gehört mit den Triple Crown-Akkreditierungen bei EQUIS, AACSB und AMBA zu den führenden Business Schools weltweit. Im Financial Times European Business School Ranking 2022 wurde sie zum fünften Mal in Folge als eine der 95 besten Business Schools in Europa ausgezeichnet.
Das Double Degree Agreement für die beiden Masterstudiengänge wurde im Mai von Rektor Professor Dr. Ulrich Jautz (Hochschule Pforzheim) und Dekan Professor Dr. Tomaž Turk (School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana) bei einem Besuch in Pforzheim unterzeichnet.

Master’s program in Corporate Communication Management (Pforzheim) and in Marketing (Ljubljana) offer dual degree option
Business School Pforzheim has announced a new double degree cooperation with the University of Ljubljana’s School of Economics and Business. Starting from October 2024, students who are enrolled in the Master's program in Corporate Communication Management in Pforzheim will have the option to apply for a dual degree.
The aim of the partnership is to prepare Master’s students from both universities for the challenges in international corporate communications and marketing. Students who participate in the program will spend their first year of studies in Germany and the second year in Ljubljana. In return, students from the Master’s program in Marketing of the University of Ljubljana will study in Pforzheim for their second year. By the end of the second year, students will receive the German Master’s degree in Corporate Communication Management and the degree in Marketing from the University of Ljubljana. Five seats will be available at each university per year and will be awarded on a competitive basis.
Pforzheim University and the University of Ljubljana have been partners for many years. The two universities have already established a double degree in Information Systems which is equally popular with students in both countries, and a cooperation for PhD doctorates. Both their business schools are highly selective when it comes to double degree partner institutions, adding only high profile and internationally accredited leading institutions to their lists. Each double degree program offers additional academic opportunities that represent added value for graduate students.
The University of Ljubljana’s School of Economics and Business is both a national leader and an internationally recognized academic and research institution. It belongs to the top business schools worldwide with the Triple Crown accreditations of EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA. In the Financial Times European Business School Rankings 2022 the SEB LU for the fifth consecutive year became one of the 95 best business schools in Europe.
The double degree agreement was signed in May by Rector Professor Dr Ulrich Jautz (Pforzheim University) and Dean Professor Dr Tomaž Turk (School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana) during a visit in Pforzheim.
