News

Jaclyn Grom earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Human Resources Management in 2019. After graduating, she gained professional experience as a human resources specialist at Robert Seuffer GmbH & Co. KG in Calw and at Enayati Oberflächentechnik GmbH in Birkenfeld. After her maternity leave, Jaclyn Grom founded her café “Lebensgefühl” in 2024 and initially operated a mobile café at events and various locations. Since 2025, she has also been running a café two afternoons a week at the “Schwarzwaldhausl” in Engelsbrand-Salmbach, while the mobile café continues to be used for corporate events and private functions.

In my current job, I particularly benefit from my studies in…
…keeping a cool head even in stressful situations. Additionally, good time management and the ability to organize tasks and prioritize them effectively help me enormously in my daily work.

The typical workday at my café / bakery…
…doesn’t really exist for me—and that’s exactly what makes it so exciting. Some days I’m in the bakery from morning to night, making desserts. At the same time, organizing and planning upcoming events takes up a lot of time: communicating with customers, writing quotes, checking inventory, and ordering raw materials—you simply have to keep track of everything. The afternoons in the café and the interaction with my ever-growing base of regular customers are also very special to me. And through it all, one thing must never be neglected: the passion behind what I do.

To be happy and content, I need…
…my passion. My family—my husband and our son—is my home and my greatest source of support.
Just as important to me are spending time with friends, shared culinary experiences, and traveling. I need freedom in my thoughts and actions, and I want to live by and stand for the values that are truly important to me.

I start my day with…
…a perfect cappuccino!
