Current MBA students had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Avigyan Dutta during a guest visit and lecture at Pforzheim University. Mr. Dutta works as an Assistant Director at EY (Ernst & Young) in Frankfurt and leads their Business Analysis (IT) operations for the Assurance practice in the EMEIA region. He is an alumnus of the MBA in International Management program at Pforzheim University and graduated in the year 2014.

Some 231,000 employees in over 150 countries in the world work for EY, providing assurance (including financial audit), tax, consulting and advisory services to companies.

During the guest talk, Mr. Dutta shared insights on working with EY and presented company facts and the working culture. In his current position, he advises Business Analysts to become Business Consultants as they provide a hybrid output and future is theirs for the taking. He spoke about the major technology trends for 2017 and beyond – Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics & Block-Chain

In the end, a Q&A session was conducted with the MBA students, where Mr. Dutta answered every question in detail. Questions ranged from graduate trainee programs to German language skills required for the job search. We would like to thank Mr. Dutta for coming back to Pforzheim University and engaging with current MBA students.
