Once again Dr. Hendrik Reefke is back in Pforzheim to teach Global Sourcing and Supply Chain Management to the MBA first semester students.

Dr. Hendrik Reefke is a Lecturer in Supply Chain Management at Cranfield University, School of Management in the UK.  Hendrik, who holds an award winning PhD from the University of Auckland is an active researcher, focusing primarily on sustainable supply chain management, service supply chains, as well as performance measurement and reporting.
Before joining Cranfield as Lecturer in Supply Chain Management, Hendrik was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Auckland as part of the New Zealand Centre for Supply Chain Management.  Prior to these roles he gained practical experience in project management and in the automotive sector.
After teaching at the Pforzheim Business School´s International Study Program (ISP) since 2013 and at the School of Engineering it is the third time already that Hendrik is back to teach within the Foundations in Business Functions field in the MBA. Main topics of the course that Hendrik is teaching together with Prof. Möller are e.g. supply chain and business process management, logistics structures and network planning, supplier evaluation and selection, information and communication technologies and sustainability in logistics and supply chains. The course consists of two parts: the foundation lectures and a group work during which the two groups have to prepare a workshop on two horizontal topics that are relevant to the content of the course. During the preparation time for the workshop, which is meant to deepen the understanding of the whole class on the discussed topics, the teams work closely together with the two lecturers who offer team coaching sessions.
