To share his knowledge and experience regarding the same Mr. Thomas Müller-Schwemer, Founder and Managing Director of Management Business Group, visited Hochschule Pforzheim as a guest lecturer for our 2nd semester MBA students.

Mr. Müller-Schwemer completed his MBA from Mannheim University and started his career in consulting with Gemini where he worked for five years mainly on projects in the electronics and telecommunication industry. He then moved on to O2 where he was Head of Sales and B2B Marketing. Throughout his career, he was inspired by innovation and wanted to do something that could drive innovation effectively in the industry. Finally, in 2006, he founded Management Business Group, a medium sized consulting firm, together with some partners.

The session was very interactive with lively discussions and suggestions.  Mr. Thomas Müller- Schwemer asked students about their thoughts regarding the innovation topic and provided solutions to their queries. When asked about the present innovation culture in companies, he stated that “the output of many companie´s innovation system is very low nowadays.” 

Mr. Thomas Müller-Schwemer also explained to the students the tools and techniques his company uses to improve innovation for their clients. Besides the theory of innovation Mr. Müller-Schwemer had also prepared a hands-on group activity for the students to get a clearer and more practical understanding of innovation. Mr. Müller-Schwemer´s guest lecture was a unique experience for the MBA students and his insights into the field of innovation was highly  appreciated .
