Most of the seminars and lectures are held in German. Therefore it is necessary for applicants whose first language is not German to have a very good level of German (level D). 


The master degree program Corporate Communication Management covers communication of and within the organization. It provides fundamental as well as advanced knowledge of corporate communication from a strategic, managerial and analytical perspective. Thus, it combines academic theory and practical expertise in three core areas: public relations/communication management, marketing communication and internal communication. A second aim of the program is training in communication and management competencies and in qualitative and quantitative research methods and design.

Application and Admission Prerequisites

Bachelor's degree or equivalent first degree from a full university or university of applied sciences: in communication science or business administration or a degree program with a similar focus, with the grade 2,2 or above, based on at least three years of study or 180 ECTS credits.   




The program imparts theoretical fundamentals and practical expertise. It is based on an innovative teaching and learning concept that focuses on small groups, interactive learning and the direct application of knowledge to research or practice. Courses are taught by professors who combine their professional experience with the latest research.

Due to the combination of management and communication contents, the program prepares for leading positions and expert functions in corporate communication management. With these fundamental competencies graduates are well equipped for future jobs.  

Starting in the first semester, the program offers students course options. By choosing your preferences, you can leave a personal mark on your studies depending on your interest and career destination (for example the field of elective subjects, practice and research projects or experimental working). Even on an international level, if you wish: There is the option of spending the third semester abroad. The standard period of study is three semesters, including the master’s thesis.
