ADVISORY COUNCIL OF THE BUSINESS SCHOOL ELECTS NEW CHAIR AND BUREAU

Professor Dr. Thomas Cleff (left), dean of the Business School Pforzheim, thanked the former speaker of the advisory board Robert Friedmann, Spokesman of the Executive Management Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG, for his services. In the middle: Michael Baumgärtner, Commercial Director Steag GmbH Essen, newly elected Chairman of the new bureau.

The advisory board is major source of inspiration for the Business School Pforzheim. Founded in 2010, it provides important contributions to the strategy of the faculty. Members of the board appointed for 5 years are graduates of the Business School in management positions.

On 19th January the 25-strong advisory board of the Business School appointed Michael Baumgärtner as the new chairman. He is the Commercial Director at Steag GmbH, Essen and a graduate of 1992 cohort. His deputy is Susanne Preuss, correspondent for the FAZ Business Editorial Stuttgart and graduate class of 1988.

For the first time, a bureau consisting of 6 members was set up in the advisory board. Besides the chair consisting of two people, the following graduates are part of the bureau: Martin Frick, Head of HR Marketing and Media at ZF Friedrichshafen AG and graduate class of 2005, Michael Huber, Chairman of Sparkasse Karlsruhe and graduate of 1983, Henrik M. Lingenhölin, Director of the Court Chamber of the House of Württemberg and graduate class of 1991, as well as Michael Marbler, Partner Ernst & Young and graduate class of 1988.

 

The deanship thanked the previous speaker of the advisory board, Robert Friedmann, graduate class of 1991 and Spokesman of the Executive Management of Würth Group, for his many years of successful contributions.
